We also offer the GT Classic low profile bedcover for the older Classic trucks.

This is a custom sized cover with typically a narrow frame edge as seen on the red Chevy shown below. The customer has opted not to have the lift tab installed. The narrow frame edge is popular for the classic trucks that have had the stake holes welded shut for that clean look. With most applications we can cover the stake holes if desired. The lid includes the rear lock, however some customizers opt to not have it included, and come up with their own internal locking device. Please add a $150.00 custom charge to the prices for a GT Classic custom lid.

Options include clamp on hardware, low profile lift handle, weatherproof lock cover, double locks, battery powered dome light, and a top notch sport rack for bikes, skis and water sport products.

This low profile lid is made up of a triple laminated interlocking steel and fiberglass composite design. The top steel layer allows for a solid smooth foundation for color matched paint. This steel layer is dipped at the foundry for rust protection. The underside of the lid consists of a combination of plastic and fiberglass reinforcement in sheet form for a nice finished look. The center is a light weight structural support core. All tonneau's weigh under 100 pounds. The interlocking exterior frame has a small lip with the rubber seal on the underside for weather protection. The unique patented hinge system is of a quick release design. A security lock and gas struts along with mounting hardware are included.
